Latitude Investment Management strengthens team with senior appointment

October 14, 2025

Latitude Investment Management (Latitude), the London-based boutique investment firm with £1.2 billion of assets under management, today announces the appointment of Will Morgan as a Senior Investment Analyst.

Bringing more than 25 years’ investment experience to his new role, Morgan joins Latitude following an 8 year tenure at Fundsmith, where he was a Partner and the Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Smithson Investment Trust, focusing on global small and mid-cap equities.

Morgan previously held senior roles within Goldman Sachs’ equity research team including positions of Co-Head of Insurance Research and Deputy Head of its Industrials Business Unit. A CFA Charterholder, he holds a first-class degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol. Morgan joins Latitude’s four strong investment team which is led by CIO Freddie Lait, with a dedicated focus on global equity and multi-asset investing.

His appointment comes at a point of considerable success for Latitude, which has seen strong growth in assets under management over the last twelve months.

This includes substantial inflows into the Latitude Global fund, which is currently ranked by Lipper in the top 10% for asset flows among UK-based global equity funds over one, three  and five years.  Its performance, with the fund’s US dollar share class returning 100% over the last five years, has been matched by the firm’s multi-asset fund, Latitude Horizon, which is currently ranked in the top decile of its peer group.

Commenting on the new appointment, Freddie Lait, CIO and Founder of Latitude Investment Management, said:

Will’s appointment comes at a significant inflection point for our business and reflects our continued commitment to recruiting exceptional investment talent in order to deliver long-term value to our clients. We continue to see strong demand for our investment capabilities from a wide variety of investors. To that end, Will’s insights and experience will be a valuable addition as we pursue the next stage of the firm’s growth.”

Will Morgan added:

Over the last decade, Latitude has built an extremely strong track record of delivering outperformance via both its global equity and multi-asset strategies. I am delighted to join the firm at such an exciting time and look forward to working with my new colleagues in continuing to support our clients in meeting their long-term investment goals.
